Angry Robot hires Lee Harris as Assistant Editor

Following up this article on HarperCollins UK‘s launch of its Angry Robot imprint, we have word that Lee Harris has been hired as Assistant Editor, starting in January.
Harris is the founder and co-editor of Hub Magazine, which is a weekly e-zine offering one piece of short fiction each issue plus reviews and interviews. He also edits Prism, the newslwetter of the British Fantasy Society. The new job, however, has made Harris announce that he’ll be stepping back from his work at Hub, although the magazine itself will continue.
Angry Robot Publishing Director Marc Gascoigne said of Harris: “Lee’s one of those rare individuals who are so driven by their love of science fiction they’ve gone beyond just reading and discussing the stuff. Establishing a weekly magazine and running it without fail for years is the mark of a dedicated, energetic guy… maybe just a little bit crazy too. I’m truly happy to have him join us in our mission.”
Harris added: “I am absolutely delighted to be taking up this role. Angry Robot promises to be an exciting new publishing house. It’s a great opportunity and I can’t wait to get stuck in!”
