Dragon Moon Press open for novel submissions

By Ian Randal Strock

Dragon Moon Press Editor-in-Charge Gabrielle Harbowy writes that they will be open for submissions for the month of December 2009. She'll be looking at novel submissions of 80,000-100,000 words, and wants to see fantasy, science fiction, or gentle horror. She explicitly says she doesn't want children's, middle grade, or YA novels.

Send a query letter, synopsis, and the first 15 pages of the manuscript all in the body of an e-mail to eic at dragonmoonpress dot com. Don't send before 1 December, and don't send after 31 December 2009. These guidelines differ from Dragon Moon's usual guidelines, and are available in full on this page.

Harbowy also notes that her publication schedule is set for the year of 2010, so no accepted submissiosn will appear before 2011. Dragon Moon Press is an imprint of Hades Publications that focuses on science fiction and fantasy.
