Mercury Retrograde withdraws Raven Wakes the World

Publisher Barbara Friend Ish of Mercury Retrograde Press writes: "An unfortunate legal and ethical situation has left Mercury Retrograde with no appropriate option but to withdraw the book Raven Wakes the World: Tales for the Winter Holiday by John Adcox from publication." The book was originally scheduled for publication on 27 October 2009.

I can understand legal problems bollixing up a book's publication, but ethical considerations? If a load of excrement like "If I Did It" can get published, what could be bad about "Ravens Wake The World?"
