Apex Magazine's October 2009 Issue

By Ian Randal Strock

Editor Jason Sizemore tells us that the new issue of Apex Magazine, dated October 2009 (Volume 3, Issue 4), is now available. In keeping with their new business model, they're offering the content for free, but hoping you'll be interested in paying for a physical or electronic copy (see below). This issue's contents include:
"A Poor Man's Roses" by Alethea Kontis (short story)
"To Dream of Stars: An Astronomer's Lament" by Peter M. Ball (short fiction)
"Yellow Warbles" by Jason Sizemore (short fiction)
"Ghost Technology from the Sun" by Paul Jessup (short fiction)
"Grey Matter" by Ekaterina Sedia ("must reads")
Interview with Brandon Massey, conducted by Maurice Broaddus
"After, Thoughts—A Pantoum" by J.C. Hay (poetry)

The issue is available as a pdf from DriveThruSciFi (for $2.50), in print from Magcloud (for $8.00), or directly from the Apex bookstore (for $8.00).
