Kristine Kathryn Rusch's The Freelancer's Survival Guide available for free

By Ian Randal Strock

Kristine Kathryn Rusch writes that she's "doing a free series on my blog (donations welcome) called The Freelancer's Survival Guide. I figure folks need to hear how to survive as a freelancer in this tough economy, since so many have been laid off and forced to fend for themselves." She's already posted her introduction and the first chapter, "Priorities", and expects to post new chapters weekly.

Rusch has made her living as a freelancer (mostly as a writer of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and romance fiction under a variety of pseudonyms, and of non-fiction) for three decades, but she was also the editor of The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction from 1991 to 1997.
