Robert J. Sawyer delivers Watch, volume two of his WWW trilogy

By Ian Randal Strock

Robert J. Sawyer writes that, on 23 February, he turned in to manuscript for Watch—the second volume in his WWW trilogy—to Ginjer Buchanan at Ace Books in New York and to Laura Shin at Penguin Canada in Toronto. On that same day, Publishers Weekly gave Wake, the first book in the trilogy, a starred review, denoting a book of exceptional merit.

Wake will be published in April 2009, and Watch will be out in April 2010. Sawyer will shortly begin work on Wonder, the final volume of the series.

Of Wake, PW said, "The wildly thought-provoking first installment of Sawyer's WWW trilogy explores the origins and emergence of consciousness. The thematic diversity—and profundity—makes this one of Sawyer's strongest works to date."
