Farscape #2 sells out; to be reprinted

By Ian Randal Strock

Just as happened with , the second Farscape comic completely sold out (although this one took seven days, versus the five issue #1 took). And once again, publisher BOOM! Studios is going to reprint (again, with a slightly different cover, to differentiate the two printings). The publisher says "This is the first time in BOOM! Studios history where strong demand has necessitated a second printing on an issue #2."

Distributor Diamond Comics reported being completely sold out, but BOOM! reminds readers that copies may still be available at retailers.

"BOOM!'s Marketing and Sales Director Chip Mosher said "The word is out: Farscape is a runaway bestseller. The demand for Farscape is high and we are fighting to meet that demand. We are completely gratified by the response from old and new fans alike."

This issue, as was the first, is written by Farscape television series creator Rockne S. O'Bannon, with a script by Keith R.A. DeCandido. Interior art is by Tommy Patterson, with cover art by Dennis Calero and Joseph Corroney. The comic series "picks up directly where the television miniseries Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars left off.
