Spider Robinson's sequel to Variable Star will actually be a trilogy

By Ian Randal Strock

Correcting (or extending) this article from last week, Spider Robinson has sold not one, but three sequels to Variable Star, his posthumous collaboration with Robert A. Heinlein. Robinson himself reports "Most readers who've responded to Variable Star have expressed strong desire to know what happened next. Spider is delighted to report his agent Eleanor Wood has… sold Tor Books not just one but three sequels to Variable Star, to be known collectively as 'The Orphan Stars Trilogy'." And as we reported last time around, the editor for the trilogy will be Pat LoBrutto at Tor Books.
