Clarkesworld once again open to submissions

By Ian Randal Strock

After temporarily closing to submissions in November, Clarkesworld Magazine is once again open to submissions. They're paying 10 cents per word for science fiction, fantasy, and horror between 1,000 and 4,000 words (those are strict limits). They have a list of things they'd really rather not see in stories, and they remind writers that stories ought to be "convenient for on-screen reading," since Clarkesworld is, after all, an online magazine.

They've also revamped the way they want to receive stories: now they're only accepting manuscripts through their online submission system. For full guidelines and details on how to send in your story, see their submission guidelines.

Clarkesworld is a monthly on-line magazine that publishes two or three pieces of fiction each issue.
