International Horror Guild Award Winners Announced

The International Horror Guild gave out their annual awards this weekend at the World Fantasy Convention. We detailed the nominees in this article. This year's winners are:

Novel: The Terror by Dan Simmons (Little, Brown & Company)
Fiction Collection: Dagger Key and Other Stories by Lucius Shepard (PS Publishing)
Long Fiction: Softspoken by Lucius Shepard (Night Shade Books)
Mid-Length Fiction: "Closet Dreams" by Lisa Tuttle (Postscripts 10)
Short Fiction: "Honey in the Wound" by Nancy Etchemendy (The Restless Dead, Candlewick Press)
Anthology: Inferno edited by Ellen Datlow (Tor)
Non-Fiction: Mario Bava: All the Colors of Dark by Tim Lucas (Video Watchdog)
Periodical: Postscripts edited by Peter Crowther & Nick Gevers (PS Publishing)
Illustrated Narrative: The Nightmare Factory by Thomas Ligotti (creator/writer), Joe Harris & Stuart Moore (writers), Ben Templesmith, Michael Gaydos, Colleen Doran & Ted McKeever (illustrators) (Fox Atomic/Harper Paperbacks)

As previously announced, Peter Straub was the recipient of the Living Legend Award.

This year's judges are Edward Bryant, Stefan R. Dziemianowicz, Ann Kennedy, and Hank Wagner, with award administrator Paula Guran.
