Reviewers Wanted

By Ian Randal Strock

With the coming of the Fall television season, SFScope tv reviewer Sarah Stegall returns with a review of the season premiere of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (which will be published here in a few minutes). While Sarah is writing her wonderful reviews for us, she won't be able to cover all of genre television.

So if you've ever had a hankering to be a television reviewer, this may be your big break. There are a slew of new and returning tv programs starting up now and in the coming weeks (and yes, we may have missed the premiere of one or two), including Ghost Whisperer, Heroes, Knight Rider, Life on Mars, Medium, My Own Worst Enemy, Reaper, Stargate, True Blood… well, you tell us which programs you think fit the SFScope mandate, which interest you, and which will be of interest to the rest of our readers. If you're willing to commit to watching a program regularly, and then writing us a well-thought-out review on a regular basis, write me (use the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page). Tell me who you are, a little bit about yourself, and paste in a sample of your writing/reviewing.

Like Sarah, all we ask is the right to pubish it first by a week or so. You keep the copyright, and you get the glory. Sounds great? Then what are you waiting for: tell the rest of the world why we're sorry we missed your favorite show.

Hi.

Would you be interested in shows being shown in the UK that may later appear Stateside, such as Merlin, Torchwood, Doctor Who, etc?

Hi Paul (and anyone else who may be wondering):

Yes, we're definitely interested in UK shows. While most SFScope readers are in the US, we do have a significant number of readers in many other English-speaking countries (Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and more).
