Hannu Rajaniemi now represented by John Jarrold

Newish writer Hannu Rajaniemi is now represented by the John Jarrold Literary Agency. Finnish-born Rajaniemi, who now lives in Scotland, has had short fiction in Finnish magazines, the anthology Nova Scotia, and two Year's Best SF anthologies. Outside the realm of fiction, Rajaniemi has a PhD in string theory, and is the co-founder of ThinkTank Mathematics Limited, a technology consulting firm.

"I think it's very important to work with the best young writers, and Hannu certainly fits the bill," said Jarrold. "His stories are dark and wonderful, and his writing and imagination are outstanding."
