Orbit Books, the science fiction and fantasy imprint of Hachette Book Group USA, is looking to hire a new editor. They want someone with at least five years of sf publishing experience, as well as editorial chops. The ideal candidate will "acquire and edit a range of science fiction and fantasy titles for the Orbit list. Participate in the Orbit editorial meetings. Contribute to author-specific and general Orbit publishing strategy. Present Orbit titles at sales meetings, conferences," and more.
