John Scalzi delivers Hate Mail and announces German Colony

John Scalzi delivered the manuscript for the new edition of Your Hate Mail Will Be Graded: A Decade of Whatever, 1998-2008 to Subterranean Press. The newly revised and updated edition will be released on 13 September 2008, the tenth anniversary of Scalzi's popular blog Whatever. He notes that "the majority of the text in the book is still from 2005 or before," that is, before the majority of his very sizable readership was regularly reading the blog. Subterranean will release the book as a signed, limited edition.

He also announces that the German edition of The Last Colony, which will be Die letzte Kolonie, will be published by Heyne next month.
