Nebula Award Winners Announced

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) announced the winners of their annual Nebula Awards tonight in Austin, Texas. The winners are:

Best Novel: The Yiddish Policemen's Union by Michael Chabon

Best Novella: "Fountain of Age" by Nancy Kress

Best Novelette: "The Merchant and the Alchemist's Gate" by Ted Chiang

Best Short Story: "Always" by Karen Joy Fowler

Best Script: Pan's Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro

Other, non-Nebula Awards presented during the ceremony include:

Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Grand Master (previously announced): Michael Moorcock

Author Emeritus (previously announced): Ardath Mayhar

SFWA Service Award (previously announced): Melisa Michaels and Graham P. Collins
