Four Hugo-nominated novels available to WorldCon members

By Ian Randal Strock

Four of the five novels nominated for this year's Hugo Award are available in free electronic editions for members of this year's WorldCon. Ian McDonald's Brasyl, Robert J. Sawyer's Rollback, John Scalzi's The Last Colony, and (if you live in the United States) Charles Stross's Halting State will be e-mailed as a zipped package of rtf files upon request (outside the US, the first three novels will be included). This offer is compliments of the authors and their publishers (the British publisher of Halting State was unwilling to participate, as were the publisher's of the fifth nominee, Michael Chabon's The Yiddish Policemen's Union).

If you are a member of Denvention 3, and wish to receive the electronic copies (it's all or nothing, you can't request just one), you must e-mail: the name under which you are registered: your full membership number: and your home state/province/country (if not US or Canada). Send the information to hugo2008 at scalzi dot com.

Full details on the offer are available here.
