Anathema is a new online anthology

By Ian Randal Strock

RedJack Books has launched a free, online anthology they're calling Anathema, which they describe as "an online anthology whose intent is to challenge the writer and reader to view the world from a perspective that is contrary to his or her own, with the hope of leading to a greater understanding of those who actually hold that contrary viewpoint." They also say that "because RedJack is all about speculative fiction, most of the stories are in that vein, from the humorous to the fantastic to the brooding to the hyperreal to the plainly bizarre…".

The first two stories are now available: "The Troll Who Sang" by K.S. Dearsley, and "The Art of Peace" by Brian Salyards.

They're currently reading submissions (their preferred length is under 5000 words), for which they're paying $25 "plus a choice of book(s) of up to $20 in value from the RedJack catalog." Full writers' guidelines are available on this page.
