Actually, more like fantasy becoming fact. Quidditch, the wildly popular wizarding sport in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books, is spreading in our non-magical world. Vermont's Middlebury College hosted a quidditch tournament this weekend, competing in a field of more than a dozen teams. While the tournament was mostly an intramural event, the local winning team competed against visiting Vassar College in a game that has been only slightly modified to accomodate a world without flying brooms, thinking balls, and other magical accoutrements.
