After nearly two years, and one change in ownership, Space and Time Magazine has reopened to submissions, but only for a limited time. They'll be considering submissions of fiction, poetry, and artwork from now until 31 January 2008. Full guidelines are on the web at spaceandtimemagazine.com.
The 40-year-old magazine was published by founder Gordon Linzner through issue 100, when he sold it to new editor-inchief Hildy Silverman. She said "I inherited a considerable backlog… when I took over the magazine. As of issue 102, due out in January, 2008, that stockpile will finally be exhausted."
The magazine seeks stories "of a speculative nature and those that cross over the lines between fantasy, horror, and/or science fiction are preferred. Fiction submissions should be no longer than 10,000 words, with 7,500 words and fewer preferred." Gerard Houarner is reading the fiction submissions; Linda Addison considers poetry, and Diane Weinstein handles queries from artists.
