The Name of the Wind sells in Spain and Japan

By Ian Randal Strock

Patrick Rothfuss sold foreign rights to his The Name of the Wind to Mondadori in Spain and to Byakuya Shobo in Japan. Both sales were for six figures by at auction. The subagents were, respectively, Teri Tobias in association with MB Agencia and Tuttle-Mori, both on behalf of Matt Bialer at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates. These are the fourteenth and fifteenth foreign rights sales for the book.
