59th Annual Emmy Award Winners

The 59th annual Emmy Awards (for excellence in television) were awarded in two cermonies. The Creative Arts Emmys were handed out Saturday 8 September 2007; the Primetime Emmy Awards came on Sunday 16 September. Both ceremonies took place in The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

Genre winners (by show) include:

Battlestar Galactica:
* Tom Archer, Brenda Campbell, Doug Drexler, Michael Gibson, Jeremy Hoey, Gary Hutzel, Andrew Karr, Alec McClymont, and Adam Mojo for "Exodus, Part 2" (Special Visual Effects for a Series)

Lost:
* Terry O'Quinn as John Locke (Supporting Actor in a Drama)

Nightmares & Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King:
* Jeff Beal (Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Special [Original Dramatic Score])
* Michael Cook, Eric Grenaudier, Daniel Kumiega, Adalberto Lopez, Sam Nicholson, Megan Omi, Mark Spatny, Marc Van, and Ryan Wieber for "Battleground" (Special Visual Effects for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Special)

24:
* Pembrooke Andrews, Jeffrey Charbonneau, William Dotson, Shawn Kennelly, Laura Macias, Vince Nicastro, Rick Polanco, Vic Radulich, Catherine Speakman, and Jeffrey R. Whitcher for "10:00 PM-11:00 PM" (Sound Editing for a Series)
