Gillian Redfearn promoted to editor at Gollancz

Gillian Redfearn has been promoted to editor at British publisher Gollancz Books.

Gollancz Editor Simon Spanton told UK SF Book News "Jo [Fletcher] and I were absolutely delighted to be able to confirm to Gillian her promotion to editor on the Gollancz list. This is the most richly deserved promotion: Gillian's been a tireless and frighteningly efficient contributor to everything that Gollancz does. Quite apart from oiling and controlling the production machinery she spotted Joe Abercrombie and has done a bang-up job of editing his books, has commissioned tie-ins to the Hellgate computer game and, most recently, brought Patrick Rothfuss to the list."
