Datlow to Edit SFWA's Nebula Awards Showcase

SFWA's Anthology Committee has chosen Ellen Datlow to edit the 2008 Nebula Awards Showcase (which will bear a 2009 cover date). Datlow is well known as an award-winning magazine editor and anthologist, having worked at Omni and Sci-Fiction. She is the ongoing editor of The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror anthologies, published by St. Martin's.

As was previously announced, Ben Bova will edit the 2007 volume (with a 2008 cover date). Bova was the editor of Analog Science Fiction and Fact before leaving to edit Omni (his tenure preceded Datlow's).

The current issue, Nebula Awards Showcase 2007, was edited by Mike Resnick. Roc continues to publish this series.
