Cryptomedia Magazine is a forthcoming electronic horror 'zine

By Ian Randal Strock

Cryptomedia Magazine is a new "online magazine of horror fiction, fact, art, comics, news, interviews, reviews and more," scheduled to debut 30 September 2007. They're planning to publish as a quarterly downloadable pdf, as well as on the web for paid subscribers.

Cryptomedia is already open for submissions, and they're "actively seeking submissions of horror, dark fantasy, and darker edged science fiction, non-fiction, reviews, interviews, features, profiles, comics, and artwork. We're looking for quality work that both broadens and deepens the definition of horror." They want stories from 750 to 6,000 words, and will pay $25 for stories of 2,500 words or more. Full details are available in the writers' guidelines.
