Film artist Peter Ellenshaw dies

Artist Peter Ellenshaw died 12 February 2007. Born 24 May 1913 in London, England, he was an award-winning matte designer and special effects creator who worked on many Disney features.

His work appeared in many genre films, including: Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, The Black Hole, The Island at the Top of the World, The Love Bug, Blackbeard's Ghost, The Gnome-Mobile, Son of Flubber, The Absent Minded Professor, Darby O'Gill and the Little People, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and The Thief of Bagdad.
